“We were playing Charmless Man the other day,” Coxon says of the latest Blur jam before their first big booking, headlining at Glastonbury next month. “And it was hilarious — we haven’t played it for ages and I thought, ‘God, this is such a good laugh to play …’ And when I used to play it I’d be like [gritted teeth], ‘F***ing stupid song with its la la la la’s …’”—Blur reunion excites Graham Coxon - Times Online (via blurreunion)

I mean, god damn, that’s a lot of alcohol consumption in one day.
“funny in all the stuff he mentioned as influences on his music he never mentioned swedish death metal band Entombed, especially since i saw him at an Entombed gig in the Garage in Highbury London in 2000, staggering around pissed drunk”—
a youtube comment from this video, where graham talks about his influences. the comment’s received 4 “thumbs-down,” lol.
is it bad that i laughed at that quote? he’s been sober for so long now that the idea of him staggering around drunk is hard to imagine.
